Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Admin / Sales Associate to join our Richmond showroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of administrative support and sales, working closely with customers, managing orders, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
This position does not require heavy social media involvement and is primarily an in-store and office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, contractors, and designers in the showroom
- Prepare quotes, sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders
- Answer phone calls and emails, responding to customer inquiries professionally
- Support the sales process from initial inquiry to order completion
- Maintain accurate records in the system (CRM, invoicing, inventory coordination)
- Coordinate with warehouse and suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Provide product information and assist customers in selecting materials
- Perform general administrative duties to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, administration, or customer service
- Experience in stone, tile, building materials, or construction-related industries is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers, invoicing systems, and basic office software
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
- Ability to multitask in a busy showroom environment
