Summary

As a Dental Assistant at Mount Hope Dental Care, you will be an integral part of our team, providing high-quality support to our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This role is vital in helping us maintain our commitment to excellent dental care in a modern setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials/taking x-rays
  • Ensure the treatment area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Take patient medical histories and record vital signs as needed.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
  • Support the front desk with administrative tasks as required.
  • Foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all patients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
  • Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is preferred.
  • Ability to assist in various dental procedures, including orthodontics
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
