We are currently looking for a Sub-Prime Manager to add to our expanding department

Braby Motors has been family owned and operated since 1965. Our focus is building long lasting relationships with both our staff and customers.

The proper candidate will have this same mentality with credit challenged customers. We are not looking for a single deal, we are looking for business for years to come with each customer.

We have about 30 lenders available to us and always keep adequate inventory in stock. If we don't have a vehicle to match an approval, we'll bring one in.

This is not an easy job You need to be able to psychologically handle failure 90% of the time and still feel good about the 10% success rate.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Answering leads and following up via phone, text, email, video, etc. will be essential to your success. The fortune is in the follow up
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subprime lenders; understand their approval criteria, credit programs and restrictions.
  • Clean approvals and clean paperwork.
  • Working your entire deal from front to back
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Management to capitalize on each opportunity.
  • Schedule and co-ordinate drivers for remote deliveries. (Our drivers are VSA licensed)
  • Preparing the legal paperwork for vehicle purchases including Finance/Lease contracts, lien searches, warranty certificates, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualities and requirements:

  • Proven experience in a management position within a dealership. A focus on subprime finance is an asset

  • Rapport building via electronic communication

  • Proficiently understand Equifax and Trans Union credit reports

  • Strong F & I closing skills

  • Working knowledge of all types of vehicles

  • VSA Certification
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to work independently and stay motivated
