The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, with a focus on providing our customers with great food and fantastic service and a genuine commitment to building a dedicated and motivated team.

Duties include:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant in accordance with prescribed operating procedures.
  • Achieve operational excellence by reaching and surpassing target goals.
  • Recruit and hire staff, oversee staff training, and deal with all staff issues which may arise.
  • Coach, recognize, and motivate staff while working to reach shift targets and celebrate achievements.
  • Control food and labour costs.
  • Control and maintain inventory.
  • Prepare daily deposits and do bank runs.
  • Complete daily timecards for payroll.
  • Prepare daily shift planner, prep sheets, checklists and positions chart.
  • Establish positive guest relations and facilitate guest retention.
  • Support the business goals and educate staff on new products and promotions.
  • Model safety and security procedures, ensure health and safety regulations are followed and comply with all food safety policies and regulations.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy and respect for customers and other staff members in all situations.
