Vice President Real Estate

We're looking for a strategic, growth-focused real estate leader to join our team as Vice President, Real Estate. This role will oversee The Keg's real estate portfolio, guiding site selection, lease negotiations, and long-term expansion strategies in locations spanning Canada and the United States.
You'll play a key role is shaping our physical footprint – from identifying new market opportunities to managing broker relationships and ensuring every location reflects The Keg's brand and business goals. This role blends high-level strategy with hands-on execution and is ideal for a collaborative leader with deep industry expertise and a passion for growth.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead site selection, lease negotiation, and approval processes
- Build strong relationships with brokers, landlords, and partners
- Conduct market research and demographic analysis
- Present site packages to the Real Estate Committee
- Collaborate across franchising, development, construction, and legal teams
- Oversee budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting
- Maintain and enhance the real estate database
- Develop long-term real estate strategies with the President and executive team
- Represent The Keg's brand in all real estate dealings
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in retail or restaurant leasing, development, or portfolio management
- University degree in business, real estate, or related field
- Valid Real Estate License
- Deep knowledge of commercial real estate, construction, and law
- Proven success in multi-market growth strategies
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Leadership experience with team development focus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Financial acumen in budgeting and cost analysis
