S&S Transport is currently seeking a Full Time Office Assistant for a variety of duties.

Duties may include but are not limited to: ·

  • IFTA Report
  • Logbook inspections
  • Motive (ELD) inspections, speeds, hours driving, idle times, all notification reports
  • Dash camera reports
  • Fuel usage and pricing weekly
  • Keep track of our gas and fuel on the property weekly. Every litre must be accounted for and documented, so we never run out
  • Monitoring dash cams and reporting on a weekly basis
  • 407 completed reports of every vehicle under SST weekly compliance
  • Obtaining mechanics reports every morning for the previous day hours and equipment worked on
  • Preparing PO books with pricing prior to receiving the invoice or packing slip for everything purchased accompanying the PO with the actual receipt signed copy with unit number priced out and then proper filing for every piece of equipment purchase for
  • Any ordering that needs to be done following up, ensuring things arrive and then reporting to the proper personnel that they have arrived, not waiting for any delays and must be on top of delays if there are any
  • Ensuring on the 15th of every month, owner receives all gas reports
  • Keeping up and maintaining any job ads
  • Completing tasks in a timely fashion
  • Maintaining of workspace, neat and 100% organized removed from any clutter
  • Must keep on top of all our consumables as well as Clothing. Keeping the inventory current, so this means everything in our cabinets for our Printing machines paper logbook everything that we stock you must maintain and have an up-to-date inventory count
  • Be willing to learn new things and open to helping on other projects / tasks as needed

Starting wage is $22.00 per hour plus mileage incentive for company errands. Our general office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM but may require flexibility in days or hours worked.

Candidates must have their own transportation as public transportation is not available in our area.
