About Elite Camps: 

The Elite Camps Group of Companies ("Elite") has been running year-round basketball camps and programs in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) since 1999. We cater to over 6,000 athletes every year, making us one of the largest and longest-running basketball camps in Canada. Our year-round programming includes school break day camps, weekly lessons, house leagues (d-league), after-school programs, and the Elite Advanced Basketball Academy (EABA).  We run our programs in gyms across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including our dedicated facility - The Elite Training Centre (ETC) in Toronto. 

About the Role: 

The ETC Weekend Facility Supervisor and Admin is a part-time position at Elite Camps, based at the Elite Training Centre (ETC) – 20 Scarsdale Road, North York (near Leslie & York Mills).

This role is for summer 2026 (June 13-September 6), and we are hiring two individuals to cover weekend shifts:

• Shift 1:
  Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Shift 2:
  Saturday & Sunday, 3:45 PM – 11:45 PM

We are seeking highly motivated, responsible, and customer-service-oriented individuals to oversee facility operations, support athletes, coaches, and rental groups, and ensure an outstanding experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Facility Supervisor and Admin responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Customer Service and Support: 
  • Provide a welcoming, professional, and energetic presence at the ETC for all visitors, including athletes, parents, coaches, and rental participants.
  • Check in participants using our registration and waiver systems.
  • Process sales transactions for merchandise and basketballs.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding programs, schedules, and facility rentals.
  • Handle phone and email inquiries, assisting customers with registrations, cancellations, and program switches using our system.
• Facility Supervision & Operation: 
  • Prepare the facility for all programs and rentals, including setting up lights, doors, fans, curtains, nets (basketball/pickleball), bleachers, and washrooms as required.
  • Ensure a safe and organized environment by monitoring gym activities, addressing hazards, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Oversee and assist with equipment setup and takedown after each program.
  • Act as the primary facility contact, communicating any maintenance issues, equipment needs, or concerns to management.
  • Maintain lost & found and assist with inventory organization.
• Facility Maintenance & Safety: 
  • Regularly clean and maintain the facility throughout the shift, including:
    • Emptying garbage and addressing spills
    • Checking, cleaning and restocking washrooms
    • Mopping floors and keeping them safe for use
  • Tending to the walkway / Salting the driveway as needed
  • Monitor and maintain supplies for:
    • Office, kitchen, and cleaning needs
    • Vending machines
    • First aid supplies and emergency equipment (AED, fire extinguishers)
    • Gym equipment (score clocks, nets, basketballs)
    • Merchandise and Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Secure and close the building at the end of evening shifts.
• Additional Responsibilities:  
  • Support the directors, owners, and management team with projects or tasks as needed.

This client- and staff-facing role requires the candidate to interact professionally and warmly with both customers and staff, including greeting them, shaking hands, providing directions, answering inquiries, and relaying feedback to the appropriate team member for resolution.
