Job Description
WHAT IS THIS OPPORTUNITY?
As a member of HR IT Support team, you will be in a hybrid role of SAP Basis & Security Consultant. This role combines SAP technical basis functions with SAP security and compliance role. In this role, you will perform both SAP basis operations as well as SAP security design and administration.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
SAP Basis Administration:

  • Administer and maintain SAP systems, including SAP ERP 6 (SAP ECC, SAP Portal, SAP Solution Manager, SAP GUI) for IBM AIX & DB2 UDB , SAP S/4HANA & Fiori
  • Manage system performance, database tuning, transports, certificates renewal and background jobs.
  • Install, configure, and manage SAP Basis components, such as SAP NetWeaver, SAP Kernel, SAP Gateway, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP RFC connections, printers, and other connections
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues, including performance, connectivity, security compliance and data integrity problems
  • Perform system refreshes, client copies and Ensure system availability (managing backups, restores and disaster recovery processes)
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as development, testing, and operations, to ensure smooth SAP system operations

SAP Security

  • Manage user access, roles, and authorizations across SAP systems (ECC, S/4 Hana & Fiori)
  • Administer and provision SAP user accounts
  • Design, develop and maintain roles in alignment with business and compliance needs
  • Monitor and analyze security logs and other audit tools to identify risks and remediations.
  • Troubleshoot SAP security incidents and implement resolution
  • Collaborate with functional, technical and business teams to implement security requirements for new projects, enhancements and transformation initiatives.
  • Participate in periodic SOX and other audits and document compliance reviews and evidences.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of security standards, processes, best practices and automation.
  • Assist basis and functional team in applying security patches and enhancements

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must-have:

  • 5 years of combined SAP security and SAP basis administration experience
  • Strong understanding of SAP Basis administration: installation, upgrades, service packs, monitoring and performance tuning.
  • Experience in SAP audit requirements and segregation of Duties.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle, HANA)
  • Proficiency with SAP autorization tools and transactions (PFCG, SU01, SUIM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of network/security (SSL, SSO, LDAP, ect)Knowledge of ECC6 security concepts for HR and FI modules
  • Working knowledge of S/4 Hana security concepts
  • Working knowledge of Fiori security concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues for both basis and security issues

Nice-to-have:

  • SAP Security certifications
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate in SAP Basis (SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA)
