Automotive Service Advisor

As a Service Advisor at Volvo Cars Markham, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects Volvo's commitment to excellence. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, guiding them through their service and maintenance needs with professionalism, accountability, and genuine passion for the brand and the job. Your focus will be on building trust, ensuring transparency, and creating a seamless service experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:
Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their concerns, and assess their service needs while providing knowledgeable, honest, and professional recommendations.
Service Coordination:
Schedule appointments and coordinate service operations efficiently to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work, while holding yourself and the process accountable for quality and accuracy.
Communication:
Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers regarding vehicle status, recommended repairs, costs, and estimated completion times.
Documentation:
Accurately document customer concerns, service history, and completed work, ensuring all records are detailed, precise, and up to date.
Sales Support:
Confidently explain and promote Volvo service packages, maintenance plans, and genuine Volvo parts and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Problem Resolution:
Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, taking ownership to ensure issues are resolved effectively and to the customer's satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with technicians and dealership staff to deliver consistent service Excellence and contribute positively to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably within the automotive industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures and products is an asset
- A strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail
- A genuine passion for customer service, the automotive industry, and the Volvo brand
- Proficiency in Chinese is a strong asset
