Windsor, Ontario, Canada Centrica Full time

Join us, be part of more.

We're so much more than an energy company. We're a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers. One team of 21,000 colleagues that's energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn't rely on fossil fuels whilst living our powerful commitment to igniting positive change in our communities. Here, you can find more purpose, more passion, and more potential. That's why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently - we do it all. We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

About your team:

At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it.

We've been powering the UK's homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We're making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. By using clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we're making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon-footprint.

Senior Digital Product Manager – HomeCare, Memberships & OD

Location: Windsor / Flexible UK locations
Working Pattern: Hybrid, with flexibility including option for compressed hours

Overview

Join Centrica Home Product & Design as a Senior Digital Product Manager and take ownership of our digital sales strategy working with brands such as British Gas. You'll lead and develop a small team, working in an agile environment to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive commercial growth.

About the Role

As Senior Digital Product Manager, you will:

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo—your own ideas and those of others—to deliver meaningful growth.

  • Own the Digital Sales Strategy: Shape key product hypotheses into impactful features or functionality. Use measurable product principles and OKRs to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Champion Customer-Centricity: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor offerings. Use customer insights to inform product development and digital strategy in fast-moving markets.

  • Design Exceptional Experiences: Collaborate with UX and UI teams to create seamless, innovative customer journeys that deliver best-in-class experiences and drive conversions.

  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with Propositions, Content, Marketing, and Technology teams to launch and optimise features that enhance the ecommerce experience.

  • Manage the Backlog: Own and prioritise the product backlog based on value vs. effort—not just stakeholder requests. Be confident in challenging and pushing back where needed.

  • Champion Agile Practices: Advocate for Agile methodologies across the business, demystifying the process and demonstrating its value.

  • Build a High-Performing Team: Partner with the Scrum Master to lead a high-performing squad. Actively participate in sprint ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous learning.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Proven track record in ecommerce and product management

  • Deep experience in data-led product optimisation, including A/B and multivariate testing, user research (qualitative and quantitative), and analytics

  • Strong understanding of digital performance and conversion metrics

  • Passion for data, insights, and performance-driven decision making

  • Experience collaborating with Technology, UX/UI, and Design teams in an agile environment

Desirable

  • Ability to prioritise based on value vs. effort

  • Expertise in writing user stories that put customer needs first

  • Structured approach to moving from hypothesis to outcomes (e.g., through user story mapping or design sprints)

Why should you apply?

We're not a perfect place – but we're a people place. Our priority is supporting all of the different realities our people face. Life is about so much more than work. We get it. That's why we've designed our total rewards to give you the flexibility to choose what you need, when you need it, making sure that you and your family are supported not only financially, but physically and emotionally too. Visit the link below to discover why we're a great place to work and what being part of more means for you.

If you're full of energy, fired up about sustainability, and ready to craft not only a better tomorrow, but a better you, then come and find your purpose in a team where your voice matters, your growth is non-negotiable, and your ambitions are our priority.

Help us, help you. We would love for you to share any information about yourself throughout our recruitment process so that we can better understand you and help shape your journey.
