About your team: 

At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it.   

We've been powering the UK's homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We're making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. Digital Product Manager – Credit Energy

Overview

We're looking for a Digital Product Manager to design world-class user experiences across our digital products in British Gas, ensuring they meet commercial goals and customer needs.

About the role

Key accountabilities include:

  • Shape product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Credit Energy across Core and Partner products.

  • Own and manage product backlogs, prioritising features and guiding delivery squads.

  • Drive development of seamless digital journeys and end-to-end customer experiences.

  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, analysts, and commercial teams.

  • Gather and act on customer and partner feedback to improve NPS.

  • Monitor product performance, manage improvements and bug fixes.

  • Stay informed on market trends and share best practice.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Experience in Digital Product Management, including backlog management, user stories, requirements, and agile delivery.

  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and technology teams.

  • Data-driven decision-making with strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication – able to simplify technical concepts for varied audiences.

  • Solid technical understanding of web and mobile development.

Desirable

  • Experience in energy or eco-tech, large organisations, and Salesforce.
