This role involves managing food production, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The Kitchen Manager will play a vital role in maintaining efficient kitchen workflows and fostering a positive team environment. Must be willing to sign a 1 year contract with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes.
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Coordinate food production schedules to meet customer demand efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout the kitchen area.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their culinary skills and service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety legislation and HACCP protocols.
  • Foster a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and professional development.

Experience

  • Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • A background in food production, cooking, food preparation, and serving within a professional kitchen environment.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including managing staff and inventory control.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations such as HACCP.
  • Previous experience in culinary roles such as a grill cook is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team effectively.
