**Summary of Position**:
The Culinary Production cook contributes to building top line sales and profitability through premium customer service, attention to details and systems with an end goal of exceeding industry standards in food quality, safety, and presentation. The Production Cook will assist in the day-to-day cold side food production.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the overall operations of the production team on a shift-by-shift basis. This will be done in an efficient and consistent manner while following the specifications, recipes, and procedures of the company.
- Will be part of the daily production team preparing food and menu items.
- Will work off prep lists created by you with help from the leadership team.
- Will ensure productivity levels are met and exceeded.
- Ensure the quality of food being produced, while adhering to specified time limits
- Ensure proper storage and cleanliness of walk-in fridges, freezers, and workstation
- Ensure proper sanitation guidelines are maintained in a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures in compliance to federal and provincial regulations.
- Performs all reasonable requests as designated by the Leadership Team
- Responsible for assisting with monthly inventories and ordering when required

**Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years of cooking experience required.
- Must have current Food Handler’s and WHMIS Certificate
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, identify, and address issues and meet delivery deadlines
- Must have excellent communication and organization skills - attention to detail is very important
- Be able to reach, bend and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 12 hours)
- Must have clean driving abstract and valid driver’s license

**Compensation**:

- Hourly Wage: $ 16.50 - 18.50/hour (commensurate with experience)
- 4% Vacation Pay - paid out on each pay period
- Group Insurance ~ Health and Dental benefits (single or family) through Chamber of Commerce Health Plan provided at 50% shared cost (Single) upon hiring. After 5 years full-time employment, health and dental are provided at 100% coverage (Single) for full-time employees in good standing.

**Salary**: $16.50-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
