Accountant / Accounting Technician

Burks Falls, Ontario (Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote) | Full-Time

ABKS Accounting & Tax Consultants Limited is a growing Ontario-based accounting firm serving small and mid-sized businesses. We're seeking an experienced Accountant or Accounting Technician to manage client files, review financials, and prepare tax returns in a professional and flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Full-cycle accounting and Year end file management.

· Prepare and review T2, T1, and T3 tax returns, plus HST, WSIB and payroll filings.

· Prepare NTR Compilation Engagements under ASPE standards.

· Support and train team members.

· Identify process improvements and advisory opportunities.

Qualifications

· Progressive experience: public or small firm practice.

· CPA designation (or near completion) preferred; strong senior technicians welcome.

· Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, CaseWare Profile/iFirm (or equivalent).

· Knowledge of ASPE, Canadian tax, and CRA correspondence.

· Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
