We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payment cycles, reconciling vendor accounts, and supporting the overall accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

This position is a fixed term contract to cover a Maternity Leave

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (three-way match)
  • Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and process cheques, EFTs, and other payment methods
  • Maintain vendor files and ensure proper documentation
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
  • Assist with other accounting duties as required

Pay: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year

Experience:
