Accounts Payable Associate

We are currently seeking a Accounts Payable Associate to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, ON.

Responsibilities may include:

• Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices/receipts
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
• Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying tax ID numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payment discrepancies and documentation
• Performs month end tasks such as preparing/posting recurring and non-recurring general journal entries & generating financial reports
• Work with transactions involving multi-currency and tax considerations
• Performs account analysis and reconciliations,
• Assists in responding to external audit requirements

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degrees in Accounting, Math, Economics, or college equivalent
• Experience in a professional services business would be beneficial but is not required
• Experience populating or building financial reports and analysis using Excel is required
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV software is an asset
