Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Wage range is based on minimum wage plus gratuities.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor and supplies.
  • Utilize POS system for processing orders and managing transactions efficiently.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and make recommendations based on preferences.
  • Handle payment transactions accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to manage busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create memorable guest experiences.
  • Knowledge of practices related to beverage preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour that fosters hospitality.
