Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. Your role will involve mixing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
  • Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and ensuring their satisfaction
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Adhere to food safety standards and regulations while handling food items
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Skills

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or bar setting, preferably with bartending experience
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
  • Time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours
