About the Role:
The Production Scheduler (Label Division) creates and maintains manufacturing schedules of all Label machine work centers, driving efficiency while ensuring on-time delivery. Responsibilities include developing daily machine schedules, creating reports and statistics, and coordinating with estimators, purchasers, sales staff, and the Production Supervisor. Candidates can expect to manage 98% or better, on-time delivery, maintain/improve production flow, support equipment efficiencies, aid in solving production issues, and help the company reach its goals in operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with the Label Production Supervisor, Estimator, and Purchaser to coordinate the activities of production, ensuring adherence to the schedule and customer delivery commitments of 98% or better.
- Create and maintain daily production schedules for all Label machine work centers.
- Examine and adjust the production schedules to ensure they are attainable through collaboration with Label operations stakeholders.
- Support Label operations in Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects that will increase productivity, visibility, capacity, and capability.
- Encourage teamwork, engagement, and empowerment of production employees and team leaders by fostering an operator-led culture.
- Bring forth and engage in projects related to process improvements and the implementation of new systems.
- Actively participate in all training relative to the Scheduling position
- Responsible for the procurement of production consumables required for daily operation.
- Supervisor support and backup
Qualifications And Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Strength in decision making, ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
- Effective time management skills and attention to detail
- Mechanical and process aptitude
- Computer skills in ERP, Microsoft Suite, and data base utilization
- Post-secondary education degree or diploma is an asset
