Engrity Group Inc., a COR and ISO 9001-certified leader in inspection, testing, and AI solutions since 2011, is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our growing team.
Position Overview
As a Business Development Manager at Engrity, you will play a key role in accelerating the company's growth, strengthening client relationships, and expanding our presence in the market. You will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, promoting our core services, and aligning solutions with the evolving needs of the industry. By conducting in-depth market research and developing long-term partnerships, you will help drive revenue growth and enhance our competitive position. This role offers a clear path to senior management and the opportunity to contribute directly to Engrity's bold 10-year big audacious goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote current services and pursue new business opportunities by conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through targeted outreach, digital platforms, referrals, and participation in industry events.
- Utilize CRM systems and other digital tools to manage leads, monitor client interactions, and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Promote and support to introduce new AI solutions to the heavy industrial clients, through in person, email and social media.
- Lead the preparation of customized proposals, RFQs, and RFP responses in coordination with internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and alignment with client needs.
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and timely resolution of any issues.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to maintain Engrity's competitive advantage.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and establish strategic partnerships.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, track key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with recruitment and operations teams to align business development activities with organizational capacity and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within technical or technology service-based industries.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil & gas sector and 2 years in selling industrial products.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful digital product and services sales strategies, achieve revenue targets, and grow client portfolios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adopt and promote new technologies, including client-facing tools and internal systems.
- Willingness to travel as required to attend client meetings, site visits, industry events, and conferences.
