Overview
We're looking for a seasoned B2B Sales Leader to spearhead the creation of our sales division from scratch. As the initial hire in this area, this independent position demands a motivated individual capable of crafting sales approaches, setting up operational frameworks, and boosting income in the B2B arena for food processing and distribution. Directly accountable to executive management, the B2B Sales Leader will focus on uncovering fresh business prospects, nurturing customer connections, and broadening our footprint among airlines, grocery stores, and dining networks to enhance the company's earnings and growth.
What you'll do
- Formulate and execute B2B sales plans aimed at major accounts in airlines, grocery outlets, dining establishments, and other bulk buyers.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new contracts, involving discussions on agreements and costs for food items and materials.
- Foster and sustain solid ties with current and prospective customers, grasping their requirements and offering customized options from our food production lineup.
- Examine industry shifts, rival actions, and performance metrics to spot expansion areas and refine sales outcomes.
- Create foundational sales workflows, funnels, and tracking mechanisms as the inaugural team member, with opportunities to hire and guide additional staff later.
- Partner with manufacturing, logistics, and accounting groups to guarantee smooth product fulfillment and synchronization with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and communicate sales indicators, projections, and performance measures to inform strategies and hit financial goals.
- Handle additional tasks as directed by executive leaders.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years in B2B sales within the food sector, production, or logistics, with a history of functioning autonomously and establishing sales operations anew.
- Background in collaborating with prominent stores and food wholesalers in the local area.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or similar discipline; further qualifications in sales or growth strategies are advantageous.
- Proven success in surpassing revenue objectives, especially when dealing with airlines, grocery chains, or eatery groups.
- Solid understanding of B2B selling techniques, deal bargaining, and competitive intelligence.
- Outstanding interpersonal, bargaining, and networking abilities, combined with a forward-thinking and innovative attitude.
- Proficiency in English; skills in Cantonese or Mandarin are beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
