The Opportunity:

  • Orientate new residents to the Safe House and services including individual counseling, support groups, life skills workshops, advocacy, case management, crisis intervention, children's services, recreation, safety and referrals.
  • Support intake, emergency case management, wrap-around, exit and aftercare processes.
  • Provide ongoing advocacy, education and support for clients.
  • Empower and support clients with building and/or maintaining life skills (housing search, employment search, budgeting, accessing health and social services, etc.)

What You Will Bring to The Role:

  • Diploma in Human or Social Services, Community Services, and/or related fields; or
  • Certificate plus 2 years' experience
  • Equivalent combination of education, experience and knowledge.

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $ to $35.73 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants' role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
