Maiiz Nixtamal Eatery is seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. We are a boutique restaurant rooted in the art of nixtamalization and traditional Mexican cuisine, offering guests an authentic and elevated dining experience. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items following traditional and contemporary Mexican recipes and nixtamal-based dishes with consistency and care.
  • Assist with plating and food presentation, ensuring every dish reflects the quality and spirit of Maiiz.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Handle multiple orders efficiently during service, ensuring timely and accurate preparation.
  • Support kitchen operations with ingredient prep, stock rotation, and maintaining equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures when working with hot equipment, knives, and storage.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to uphold Maiiz's high culinary and hospitality standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.91-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
