Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal and local ingredients are utilized
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed
  • Execute catering orders as needed, maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during busy service times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Line Cook in a restaurant or fine dining setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
  • Experience with meal preparation, including dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service
  • Previous experience in the food industry, including catering or food service roles, is highly desirable
  • Language: Korean Preferred
