Westland Insurance Group Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant on our Facilities & Construction team. Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $40,000 to $50,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As an Administrative Assistant, Facilities you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the National Facilities & Construction team. You will support Westland's Facilities Manager with arranging service calls, identifying potential vendors, reviewing, and approving vendor invoices, data entry and organizing information in the database.

Expert time manager, with exceptional organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
High level of proficiency in MS Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Suite
Experience in data professing/managing and consolidating large amounts of information via Excel and/or Smartsheet
Once here, you'll:
Support branches across Canada as well as our corporate offices with a focus on Eastern provinces for their facilities/construction needs
Contact and liaise between landlords and property managers to address repairs required while representing Westland through the process
Assist in coordinating and recording preventative and cyclical maintenance such as mechanical, landscaping, snow removal, fire safety, etc.
Coordinate and support branch access for installations or service calls
Research and identify trades and suppliers in all regions we operate
