Job Summary – Automotive Sales Consultant / Salesperson

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant / Salesperson to join our growing dealership team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a genuine passion for the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging new customers, guiding them through the buying process, and providing an exceptional experience that drives loyalty and repeat business.

Multilingual candidates and those experienced with CRM systems are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage prospective customers through outbound calls, cold calling, and in-person interactions to generate quality sales opportunities
  • Conduct vehicle presentations and feature demonstrations, clearly communicating value and upselling products or services
  • Negotiate terms, present financing options, and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with dealership policies
  • Build long-term client relationships through top-tier customer service, securing repeat business and referrals
  • Support inventory management by staying informed on in-stock vehicles and high-demand models
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and attract new customers
  • Maintain professional communication skills including strong phone etiquette and confident public speaking during presentations and product demos
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and sales initiatives to help the dealership achieve monthly and annual targets

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven success in automotive sales or retail sales, with full understanding of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or premium retail environments is an asset
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms for customer relationship and pipeline management
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent organization and multitasking abilities
  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly preferred to better serve a diverse customer base
  • Knowledge of inventory management, retail math, and automotive product expertise is beneficial
  • Exceptional communication skills, including confident public speaking, professional phone etiquette, and a customer-first mindset
