About the Role
Full-time, permanent position for a mid-level product designer with marketing design experience. You will design user-facing features for our web platform and mobile app, while also supporting marketing initiatives. You are creative, data-driven, and passionate about making education accessible through thoughtful design.
What You'll Do
- Design product UI/UX for web platform and mobile app features
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features
- Build and maintain design systems for product consistency
- Design marketing materials (landing pages, email campaigns, digital ads) as needed
- Translate product requirements into intuitive, user-centered designs
- Design for multiple audiences (parents, students, homeschoolers) across different regions (US, Canada, UK, Australia)
- Conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback
- Work closely with product developers on implementation
- Design A/B testing variations to optimize product and marketing performance
Requirements
- 3-5 years professional experience as a product designer, UI/UX designer, or in a design agency with product work
- Expert proficiency in Figma
- Experience building and maintaining design systems
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user flows, and information architecture
- Data-centric mindset - use analytics and test results to inform design decisions
- Experience designing for web and mobile applications
- Marketing design experience (landing pages, campaigns, ads)
- Portfolio required showing:
- Product UI/UX design work (web and/or mobile app)
- User flows and wireframes
- Design system work
- Responsive web design and landing pages
- Marketing campaign design examples
Preferred
- EdTech, SaaS, or subscription product experience
- Experience with freemium conversion optimization
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Motion graphics or animation skills
- Chinese language ability (Mandarin or Cantonese)
- Experience designing for education or learning platforms
Portfolio must include product UI/UX work, user flows, design systems, and marketing design examples with brief context for each project. Applications without portfolio links will not be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
