Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer at our Richmond, BC headquarters. The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning and optimizing interior spaces, creating detailed construction drawings, collaborating on architectural designs, and selecting appropriate fixtures, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E). Additional responsibilities include working closely with team members to meet project design goals and ensuring high-quality deliverables for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in Space Planning and creating efficient, functional interior layouts
- Knowledge and skills in Architecture and the ability to interpret and contribute to building designs
- Proficiency in creating accurate Construction Drawings and related design documents
- Proven expertise in Interior Design, with attention to detail and creativity
- Experience with FF&E selection, including sourcing and coordinating finishes, furniture, and equipment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of industry-standard design software is preferred
- Educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
