Job Summary:
We are seeking a growth minded, organized, customer service oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Front Desk Salon Coordinator. As the first point of contact for our salon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client care management, booking appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk 5 days a week between Monday and Saturday. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a background in sales, a positive mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to grow towards a Front Desk Management position with a higher pay structure and a benefits program.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression of the salon.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the salon's booking system efficiently.
Provide accurate information to clients regarding salon services, pricing, and availability.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Process client payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Learn about our retail products and support in salon and online sales.
Assist stylists and technicians in coordinating client appointments, ensuring smooth transitions between services.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
Collaborate with salon staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
Stay updated on salon services, promotions, and product offerings to effectively communicate with clients.
Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and inventory management, as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a salon or spa environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Proficient in using computer software and salon management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Flexibility to work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with the potential for additional hours during peak periods.
Knowledge of salon services, products, and industry trends is a plus.
