THE POSITION

The Human Resources Coordinator provides reliable, detail-oriented administrative support to the HR team and all CSEC employees across the full employee lifecycle with a people first mindset. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and who takes initiative in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. You'll partner closely with HRBPs and Payroll on HR and Benefit administration and enrollment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Support annual HR program management.
  • Manage onboarding process for all CSEC employees in HRIS system.
  • Benefit and RRSP enrollment.
  • Benefit and RRSP changes in HRIS system and benefit providers.
  • Process improvement on all HR processes (SOP's, Job Aid's, scripts, etc.) and ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Complete employee transactions (job changes, wages changes, etc.)
  • Participate in HR event level table on select event days interacting with employees.
  • Setup and organization for event level table and draw prizes for all employee engagement initiatives (form updates for each event and prize distribution).
  • Become the primary user for Formstack for the HR team (create, collect and report on data submitted).
  • Manage HR ticketing system (Kace) by monitoring and responding and assigning employee and manager queries.
  • Manage Contract Management including process improvement in conjunction with payroll and HRBPs.
  • Complete employee verification letters.
  • Administration support to the Human Resources and Payroll team as required.
  • Support day-to-day recruitment needs as required: Job postings, pre-screens, interviews and reference checks.
  • Support Generalist with educating and training hiring managers on recruitment best practices and processes.
  • Support Generalist with Onboarding welcome emails.
  • Support new hire gift selection and ordering.
  • Support Generalist with managing LinkedIn page and responding to messages.
  • Engage Leaders on recruitment activities throughout the full cycle process.
  • Support recruitment initiatives: attending job fairs, updating job descriptions, complete reference checks, pre-screens and background checks.
  • Manage Job Vacancy Survey.
  • Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices.
  • All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal individual will have the following background:

  • Post Secondary education in Human Resources.
  • 1-3 years experience in an HR Administration or Coordinator role
  • 1-2 years experience with Benefit Administration
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective and professional communication.
  • Experience with high volume onboarding and recruiting.
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn all areas within the HR function.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy to be successful in this role.
  • Must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential information pertaining to employees.
