Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, book and confirm appointments.
  • Prepare dental charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
  • Submit dental claims and treatment plans.
  • Communicate with dental insurance providers.
  • Track office expenses, accounts payable and receivable.
  • Order dental and office supplies.
  • Maintain office productivity, developing and managing all internal office procedures and practices.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day execution of office practices that increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate office budget.
  • Perform general payrol functions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of dental administration experience.
  • Spanish-speaking is essential for this position.
  • Should have exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be friendly, professional, and highly organized.
  • Solid understanding of dental billing and insurance procedures.
  • Knowledge of Timeshift dental software is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.45-$32.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North York, ON M2J 2K9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
