Rising Marwave Consultancy is a boutique hospitality initiative founded by, a George Brown College Hotel Management graduate and active Royal LePage Commercial professional.

We collaborate with hotel groups and investors across the GTA to deliver trade-show representation, sales outreach, and capital introductions for hospitality and real-estate growth projects

We are currently seeking one entrepreneurial, professional individual to work on an as-needed basis for hotel trade-show and marketing events.

This independent role focuses exclusively on representing the Rising Marwave brand during select events, engaging hotel contacts, collecting leads, and assisting in securing signed promotional or representation agreements for participating hotel clients.

This is a unique opportunity to grow alongside an emerging hospitality consultancy and gain meaningful experience in brand representation, event sales, and hotel outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Rising Marwave brand at select hotel and tourism trade shows (as assigned).
  • Conduct event-day outreach and follow-up with hotel and hospitality partners.
  • Support presentation materials, lead tracking, and contract coordination.
  • Maintain professional communication and reporting following each event.
  • Operate on a best-efforts, case-by-case basis under project-specific agreements.

Compensation & Structure

  • Independent Contractor (self-employed) – not an employee.
  • Per-event or commission-based compensation, depending on assignment.
  • Flexible schedule; work may include occasional travel within Ontario.

Important Notes / Disclaimer

  • This is a project-based independent contractor role; there is no employment relationship.
  • The contractor is responsible for maintaining personal Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance to cover any professional actions while representing Rising Marwave.
  • Contractors will be required to sign an Independent Contractor Agreement confirming that Rising Marwave Consultancy assumes no liability for any claims, damages, or representations made during assignments.
  • All business information, client lists, and proprietary methods remain confidential and may not be used outside of Rising Marwave.
  • The contractor must represent the brand professionally, ethically, and within authorized guidelines.
