Technical Service Representative

BOMImed Inc., is looking for an outgoing, passionate, self-starter who has an interest in travel, technical service and healthcare to join our Technical Service team for the Atlantic Canada territory.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Unpack, set-up and install respiratory, anesthesia and other medical equipment as sold and serviced by BOMImed
- Verify equipment performance at regular intervals (Periodic Manufacturers' Service)
- Schedule and maintain regular service intervals as outlined by service contract
- Perform unscheduled equipment repair and subsequent PMS procedure
- Complete, maintain and submit appropriate documentation of all repairs, maintenance and installations
- Order parts as needed to complete scheduled and unscheduled repairs, maintenance and installations
- Maintain and inventory an adequate supply of common parts needed to complete regular servicing functions
- Report equipment problems to service manager
**Education and Experience**
- Graduate of a recognized educational institution as a Technician or Technologist in Electronics or Biomedical
- Valid driver’s license required
- 2 years Technical Service Experience
**Skills Required**:
- Excellent written, verbal communication and documentation skills
- Strong IT knowledge and understanding
- Flexible, adaptable and proven ability to operate independently
- Great attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize job requests and tasks
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work with hospital Biomedical, Nursing, and other personnel to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair problems and issues that arise from our customers and suppliers
- Ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy equipment, and frequently bend down
- Ability to travel
