F.G.B Rising Marwave Consultancy is a Toronto-based hospitality and trade-show outsourcing firm expanding into the New York market. We help boutique and branded hotels boost weekday occupancy and visibility through creative sales representation and event partnerships.

Job Overview

We're seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Hospitality Sales Contractor to represent Marwave in New York. This is a remote, commission-based independent contractor role focused on hotel outreach, brand representation, and trade-show coordination.

Note: This role is hotel outsourcing only (no financial/capital referral services).Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage NYC-area hotels that can benefit from Marwave's outsourced sales/representation services.
  • Conduct outreach (calls, visits, virtual presentations) and position Marwave's offerings.
  • Support trade-show/event coordination and represent Marwave professionally.
  • Maintain prospect lists, track activity, and report progress.
  • Collaborate with Marwave's Toronto HQ on messaging and strategy; provide consistent follow-ups and client service.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in hotel sales, hospitality marketing, tourism or event representation preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
  • Knowledge of the New York hospitality landscape is an asset.
  • Laptop/phone/internet required.

Contract Details

  • Type: Independent Contractor (1099-style; not employment)
  • Duration: 6 months, renewable based on performance
  • Compensation: Commission-based + performance bonuses
  • Jurisdiction: Governed under the laws of Ontario, Canada
