About Us

Granddaughters Home Care Inc. (est is a Calgary-based home care agency dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to our community's most vulnerable residents. Our commitment goes beyond traditional caregiving—we focus on building meaningful relationships with the families we serve and creating a true family-like experience.

The Opportunity

We are looking for 2–3 casual/part-time team members to join our GHC family in Calgary. If you have a heart for caregiving and experience in personal care and memory care, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Accompanying clients on outings (must have appropriate vehicle insurance)
  • Providing memory care support
  • Offering support around the home
  • Engaging in conversation and meaningful daily activities
  • Providing companionship
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Light housekeeping

What We're Looking For

To join the GHC team, you must:

  • Be respectful, reliable, and experienced in caregiving
  • Understand and follow all GHC safety protocols and procedures
  • Build trust and rapport with clients and families
  • Maintain clear, consistent reporting to GHC Management and family members

Requirements

  • Certified Health Care Aide in Alberta (required)
  • Listed on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory (required)
  • Current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check (within 3 months) (required)
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (required)
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle (required)
  • A compassionate, client-centered approach (absolutely required)
