Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Casual or Full-time work up to 44 hours per week.
  • Build lasting relationships with your clients through social interaction and personalized care.
  • Assist with personal care activities, including showering, toileting, dressing, medications, and more.
  • Engage clients in enriching activities inside and outside the home.
  • Be able to help prepare nutritious meals that support the clients well-being.
  • Run errands, accompany clients to appointments, and ensure their safety during outings.
  • Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Uphold our values of open communication, confidentiality, and compassionate care.
  • Follow all Trusted Hands Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Certified Health Care Aide and registration in the Alberta HCA Directory.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, especially seniors.
  • Must Pass a Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector.
  • Preferred: Dementia care training, Early Childhood Educator certification, and experience with disabilities or developmental delays.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
