As a Barista/Front of House, you will be the vibrant heartbeat of our café, creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while serving delicious beverages and food. What you'll do

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and flair
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
  • Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist in food preparation and ensure all items meet quality standards before serving
  • Manage cash handling accurately, including processing transactions and balancing cash drawers
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and enthusiasm
  • Stay informed about menu offerings and seasonal specials to effectively upsell to customers

Basic qualifications

  • Previous barista experience or background in the food service industry is preferred
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations
