We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team. Duties
- Manage and supervise front-of-house staff, including interviewing, training, and scheduling team members
- Oversee food preparation and serving processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems such as Micros POS with accuracy
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders
- Monitor restaurant operations to optimize productivity and guest satisfaction
- Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism to foster a positive work environment
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food industry leadership roles, including supervising teams
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Leadership ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Experience in food handling, restaurant operations, and kitchen processes is preferred
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview and train staff effectively
- Knowledge of food industry standards, restaurant management best practices, and hospitality trends
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.17-$26.05 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
