Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. A background in food service, food safety, and hospitality is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

  • Manage and supervise front-of-house staff, including interviewing, training, and scheduling team members
  • Oversee food preparation and serving processes to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems such as Micros POS with accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders
  • Monitor restaurant operations to optimize productivity and guest satisfaction
  • Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism to foster a positive work environment
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or food industry leadership roles, including supervising teams
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety practices
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Leadership ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
  • Experience in food handling, restaurant operations, and kitchen processes is preferred
  • Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview and train staff effectively
  • Knowledge of food industry standards, restaurant management best practices, and hospitality trends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.17-$26.05 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
