Sales Support Specialist
Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role
combines data-driven analysis, CRM administration, and hands-on sales operations support.
You will help transform how TAG manages, measures, and scales its sales performance by
supporting processes, reports, and systems that provide clarity and accountability.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and proactive — equally comfortable
reviewing sales data, tracking leads, supporting customer communications, and coordinating
logistics for sales initiatives.
This is a critical position that will help us build structure, consistency, and actionable insight into
our sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support
Support the VP Sales & Marketing in managing data and communications with key
accounts.
Assist in preparing customer presentations, proposals, and sales materials.
Manage and organize product and sales information for the internal team.
Coordinate logistics for sales events and trade shows, including travel, hotels, and
customer visits.
Support customer follow-up and internal task tracking post-meetings or trade shows.
Collect, analyze, and report monthly sales and performance data across customers,
territories, and product lines.
Measure progress against sales targets, including specific product goals.
Review dashboards and reports to track new product launches and adoption by key
customers.
Support VP of Sales in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support data-driven
decision-making.
Support the development of annual and quarterly sales performance reviews.
CRM Administration & Sales Process Development
Administer and maintain the CRM system to ensure sales data accuracy and process
integration.
Review CRM workflows, project tracking, and metrics dashboards.
Review systems for tracking KPIs that reflect team performance and customer
engagement.
Distribute and track leads from the TAG website, ensuring timely follow-up and
documentation.
Product & Market Data Management
Maintain product-level data such as sales volume and pricing updates.
Track product performance and adoption rates by region, customer, and category.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data and consistent
communication.
Support analysis related to effectiveness of Sales & Marketing plans and strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in a sales operations, sales analysis, or product support role.
Proficient in full Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
Effective communicator — both written and verbal — with cross-functional teams.
Experience with CRM systems (preferably or similar).
Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Why This Role Matters
This position will bring structure, visibility, and accountability to our sales function.
By organizing CRM data, tracking key metrics, and supporting sales operations, this role will
directly improve TAG's ability to measure growth, identify opportunities, and execute
effectively, from lead generation to post-sale analysis.
