Price Book Specialist
Location: Surrey, BC
Reports To: Technical Program Manager
Salary Range: $62,000 - $88,000 Annually
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Price Book Specialist to manage and maintain the product and pricing catalog for our manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our equipment pricing is accurate, consistent, and aligned with business strategies across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent data management skills, and experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Own the creation, update, and maintenance of price books for multiple equipment lines and migration into Salesforce. Collaborate with supply chain and engineering to ensure all product configurations, SKUs, and pricing rules are correctly reflected. Implement and enforce pricing structures and discounting rules across regions and channels. Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems. Translate technical product specifications into logical, customer-friendly pricing structures. Provide estimates for ad hoc projects, compile, track and submit customer RFQ Support new product launches by ensuring pricing and product configurations are loaded accurately and on time. Analyze pricing data for trends and provide recommendations for improvements. Manage version control, approval processes, and documentation for all price book updates. Provide training or support for internal users accessing or using the price book. Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce CPQ (if applicable) and other pricing tools.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing, pricing operations, or product management. Hands-on experience with Salesforce, preferably including Salesforce CPQ. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and translate complex equipment specifications into structured pricing formats. Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Proficient in Excel and data management best practices. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Finance teams.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large-scale manufacturing product catalogs. Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and integration with CRM platforms. Salesforce Administrator or CPQ certification is a plus.Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
