Your role is to present clear solar proposals, build trust, handle objections, and close deals during the appointment.
This role is ideal for disciplined, high-performing sales professionals who thrive in a structured system and are motivated by uncapped earning potential.
Responsibilities- Conduct scheduled, in-home solar consultations with fully pre-qualified leads
- Run 2–4 booked appointments per day, set by the SQ team
- Deliver clear and compelling solar presentations that drive confidence and commitment
- Educate homeowners on system design, savings, financing options, rebates, and timelines
- Handle objections professionally and maintain strong close rates
- Complete follow-ups within 24 hours (calls, texts, and email summaries)
- Submit applications and collect required documentation (ID, utility bills, etc.)
- Collaborate with Applications and Project Management teams to move clients toward installation
- Maintain accurate CRM records for all meetings, updates, and next steps
- Professionalism: Confident, polished in-home presence and strong communication skills
- Performance: Consistent closing ability and adherence to sales process
- Reliability: Attendance and punctuality for all scheduled appointments
- Accuracy: Complete and timely submission of documentation and CRM updates
- Accountability: Ownership of results and follow-through on all client interactions
- 1–2+ years of solar sales experience
- Proven in-home closing experience (solar, HVAC, telecom, roofing, windows, home improvement, or D2D preferred)
- Strong presentation, objection-handling, and communication skills
- High emotional intelligence and confidence in face-to-face consultations
- Reliable transportation for daily client visits
- Self-disciplined, consistent, and performance-driven work habits
- Ability to quickly learn solar programs, rebates, and financing options
- CRM experience and comfort working within structured sales systems
- Commission-only role with a guaranteed $3,500/month for the first 3 months during ramp-up
- Uncapped earning potential for top performers
