Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Head Housekeeper to build and lead our in-house cleaning team for short-term rental units, delivering hotel-level consistency and on-time readiness for every check-in. The ideal candidate has STR/hospitality cleaning experience, strong leadership, and sharp attention to detail. You will run daily turnovers, inspections/QC, linen/supply control, and staff training to keep every home guest-ready and coordinate fixes with Ops.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and schedule in-house cleaners across multiple short-term rental homes to ensure on-time, guest-ready turnovers..
  • Build and enforce standardized cleaning SOPs and checklists for turnovers, deep cleans, and mid-stay refreshes.
  • Perform post-clean inspections with photo documentation and correct issues before check-in.
  • Train, coach, and hold staff accountable to hotel-level standards, speed, and reliability.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.
  • Manage linen and laundry operations (par levels, rotation, stain control, replacements) and prevent shortages.
  • Control unit-by-unit supply inventory and restocking standards; ensure proper storage and chemical handling.
  • Coordinate with Ops/Maintenance to report, track, and confirm resolution of issues found during cleans.
  • Maintain health and safety compliance and foster a high-performance culture of professionalism and ownership.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in housekeeping/cleaning operations; leadership experience required (STR or hotel preferred).
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to inspect and verify quality under tight turnover windows.
  • Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between properties; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
  • Must have a Vehicle
  • Comfortable using mobile apps for checklists, photos, and team communication.
  • Knowledge of cleaning/sanitation standards and safe chemical handling.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; previous supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Physically able to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and move supplies/linens.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.70-$25.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Work Location: In person
