A global Automotive Parts Supplier is seeking a
Junior Sales Engineer
to support our sales and estimating efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Junior Sales Engineer Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and submit quotes for new and existing customers based on technical requirements and cost analysis
  • Support inside sales functions including order entry, follow-up, and customer communication
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates using historical data and input from engineering and production
  • Generate invoices and track billing in coordination with finance and customer service teams
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding product specifications and pricing
  • Maintain accurate records of customer quotes, purchase orders, and pricing agreements
  • Monitor customer accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding quotes or sales opportunities
  • Support the Sales Manager and senior sales engineers in day-to-day activities and customer meetings

Junior Sales Engineer Requirements :

  • 1–2 years of
    inside sales experience
    (preferably in manufacturing or automotive environment)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of
    cost estimating
    experience
  • General knowledge of
    automotive industry standards, components, and processes
  • Experience with
    invoicing and creating customer quotes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/CRM systems experience a plus
  • AS400 experience is an asset
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
