As their portfolio continues to grow, they are seeking a reliable and detail-driven administrative professional to support their accounting, project, and office operations.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an organized and proactive administrator with strong accounting fundamentals who is interested in growing within the residential construction industry. You will play a key role in supporting project documentation, accounting processes, payroll, and office coordination, while gaining exposure to how construction projects, safety requirements, and financial systems work together.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data entry and ongoing maintenance of accounting and project records
  • Accounts payable invoice processing, coding, and tracking
  • Payroll processing and administrative support
  • Tracking, follow-up, and maintenance of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and WCB documentation
  • Preparation and maintenance of project binders, safety documentation, and close-out and warranty documentation
  • Coordination of project closeout deliverables and internal and client-facing documentation
  • Coordination of company and project-related events
  • Opportunity to assist with and take on additional project coordination tasks as required
  • General office coordination and miscellaneous administrative support as needed

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant administrative, accounting, or project support experience
  • Construction industry experience or exposure is considered an asset
  • Secondary education is sufficient for this role; post-secondary education in business, accounting, or administration is an asset but not required
  • Strong administrative and accounting fundamentals
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership over tasks
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships
