We are seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to oversee and coordinate security operations at a large office building complex site with multiple security positions operating 24/7. You will lead a team of security professionals while developing and implementing policies and procedures that maintain high-level security standards. The Site Manager will work closely with, and report directly to, the Client Service Manager.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent multitasking abilities, a solid understanding of health and safety protocols, and proven experience in emergency response. The goal is to maintain a safe and well-protected environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property.
As a Site Manager, you will have to demonstrate excellent leadership and multitasking skills and knowledge of health and safety hazards and emergency response procedures. The goal is to create and preserve an environment where our client, employees, visitors, and property are safe and well-protected.
Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership to the security team, ensuring a high standard of customer serviceAddress and resolve client concerns and recommend improvements to security operationsSupervise all security staff and act as a resource for security issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and proceduresMaintain and enforce organizational and client policies, including professionalism, reporting standards, and performance expectationsSupport officers in their daily responsibilities and mentor staff to deliver consistent, high-quality serviceConduct site orientations and training for new officers; monitor performance and document or discipline as requiredLead shift briefings, debriefings, and performance evaluationsServe as the first point of contact for after-hours calls from site staffEnsure all daily and incident reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on timeReview, escalate, and track incidents using internal reporting systemsCompile operational statistics and complete required auditsConduct investigations and risk assessmentsMaintain accurate access control records, including issuing and deactivating cardsLiaise professionally with clients, their employees and partner agenciesCreate and maintain site schedules to ensure full coverage across all shiftsHandle last-minute absences and arrange shift coverage as neededEnsure all officers meet the site's training and certification requirementsEnsure the SOC is staffed 24/7 for real-time monitoring and incident responseOversee surveillance systems, access control platforms, and communication toolsMaintain situational awareness and ensure timely escalation of security eventsDeliver site-specific onboarding, refresher training, and scenario-based exercisesEnsure all staff maintain required certifications and comply with organizational standardsConduct audits of patrol logs, reports, and access control activityImplement corrective actions and service improvement plansEnsure compliance with policy, regulatory guidelines, and privacy standardsReview and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regularlyWork with leadership teams to align SOPs with evolving risksEnsure SOPs are accessible, clear, and consistently followed by all staffParticipate in planning meetings, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness discussionsProvide recommendations for long-term operational and security improvementsQUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum one year of supervisory experience in the security industry, or a comparable combination of experience and education; further leadership experience strongly preferredCompletion of Paladin's Supervisor Training (or willingness to complete)Class 5 Driver's License preferredOFA2 certification preferred; training availableStrong understanding of access control, CCTV, alarm systems, fire panels, and related security technologyKnowledge of MS Office, incident reporting, and digital patrol systemsAbility to plan, organize, delegate, and resolve complex problemsStrong knowledge of site orders and standard operating proceduresStrong leadership and team-building abilitiesPay Rate: $35.56/hour
