Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our team. We are looking for someone with experience in logging road construction.

Housing accommodations: Bunk house with private apartment.

Work truck will be provided.

Wages are set by the Union via the collective bargaining agreement.

Duties

  • Operate excavator to build logging roads
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience using an excavator to build a subgrade and cap it with native material.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to do basic troubleshooting of equipment issues.
  • A valid driving license. (G)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in diverse environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
  • Drug/alcohol free workplace
