Job Overview

Excavator experience is a must. Using only 3 and or 5 ton excavator. Will be some physical work involved. Job is digging duct bank, trenchs, and augering holes for electrical contractor. Few months of work but there may be a few days off depending on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to company guidelines
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or products as needed
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, digging, or assembling components
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and productivity
  • Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately
  • Support team members in completing project goals on time and within scope
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning

Requirements

  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
  • Prior experience operating machinery or similar equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and reliability
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 2-3 months

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
