Pay Rate: CAD 55-65/hr**
 

Job Description:

  • The Program/Grant Officer supports the delivery and administration of government grant programs to ensure a productive workforce aligned with Alberta's current and future economic needs.
  • The role involves evaluating grant applications, managing risk and compliance, coordinating process improvements, and supporting program effectiveness through reporting and analysis.
  • Experience working with
    childcare grant funding programs in Alberta
    .
  • Key responsibilities include administering and monitoring grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with program policies and government accountability requirements, preparing financial and operational reports, investigating eligibility and compliance issues, and supporting fraud risk mitigation.
  • The position collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, resolves client inquiries and complaints, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, change management, and operational excellence.
  • This role requires strong analytical, customer service, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced environment.
