This role is 100% on-site.

Schedule: The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Thursday, and Saturday.

Shift: 10:45 am to 7:00 pm

What You'll Do
You'll act with integrity to:
  • Ensure customers are welcomed and served according to the highest professional standards. This role coordinates and performs a variety of duties and services with a focus on customer service.
You'll support our collaboration as you:
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menus and dining options to answer questions and assist guests with selections.
  • Perform opening and closing duties to established standards for the food services operation.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety requirements: ensure employees follow correct work procedures, communicate hazard information and control
  • Ensure POS terminals are in working order and cash floats are available and run reports from the POS system. Perform clerical and banking duties when required.
  • Act as a backup and perform POS Operator duties when
  • Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are consistently
  • Ensure food service operations are running smoothly, shelves are stocked and orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the proper and timely cleaning/maintenance of all kitchen/cafeteria
  • Oversee the ordering and receiving of all food inventory and ensure all items are sorted and stored properly according to health food standards.
  • Complete inventory physical count and spreadsheets as
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, dealing with customer concerns and
  • Check daily the date of expiry on all Grab 'n Go
  • Maintain all public seating areas for food services by sanitizing tables after very guest, keeping the area clean, and ensuring garbage area is tidy and emptied as required.
  • Work with culinary team to ensure efficient service, quality food and
  • Ensure consistent quick service at the grill by expediating orders and helping guests move through the grill area.
  • Perform other related activities as Keep up-to-date on related skill development in order to use any new technologies or processes as required.
How You Qualify
You demonstrate excellence through your:
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or a related diploma in the hospitality industry and a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Well organized with exceptional time management, and is capable of multi-tasking, problem-solving and taking initiative.
  • Completion of Smart Serve Certificate required.
  • Completion of the Food Safe Level 1 sanitation program for food
  • Passion for customer service excellence, professional
  • Experience with cash handling policies and procedures, and is capable of operating cash registers and POS systems.
  • Ability to provide a positive, enthusiastic approach while promoting cooperative and effective working relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements for the job including lifting moderate weights, bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking.
