Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard management and scheduling software. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project quality within budget and schedule constraints. The Construction Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring that all aspects of construction operations adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and client expectations.

Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam for project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide team activities.
  • Monitor progress through project scheduling tools; adjust plans as necessary to address delays or issues.
  • Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings to promote a safe work environment.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
  • Manage contract requirements, change orders, and documentation related to project scope.
  • Oversee material procurement, inventory management, and cost control measures.
  • Provide leadership in supervising personnel; mentor team members for skill development and performance improvement.
  • Prepare reports on project status, including progress updates, safety incidents, and budget tracking.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction management with a minimum of 5 years supervising construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera.
  • Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and construction estimating.
  • Familiarity with heavy civil projects including pipelines or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites.
  • Supervisory experience managing diverse teams across multiple trades.
  • Skilled in using tools such as ohmmeters for quality control testing when necessary.
